What Is Rosabella Beetroot Powder and Is It Worth Buying?
Rosabella is a New York supplement brand owned by Ambrosia Brands. They currently offer just 6 products on their website: beetroot powder capsules, biotin gummies, an electrolyte drink, and moringa powder, capsules and gummies.
There’s no question that Rosabella’s organic beet supplement sells well. It holds the number 1 best seller spot on Amazon in Sports Nutrition, Endurance & Energy Supplements. But what’s actually in it, and does this product justify its price or is it mostly marketing?
Ingredients in Rosabella Beetroot
One thing that stands out for me when looking into Rosabella products is just how basic the formula is. There’s no added grape seed extract like you’d find in other brands like Total Beets or SuperBeets. There’s also none of the extra ingredients like pomegranate, L-arginine or L-citrulline that commonly appear in nitric oxide formulas.
The label lists 1,300 mg of organic beet root powder per 2-capsule serving. That’s a reasonable dose and slightly above the more typical 1,000 mg found elsewhere. It does mean the capsules run larger than most competitors though. Worth keeping in mind if swallowing pills is an issue.
On the plus side, Rosabella’s supplement is gluten-free, third-party tested and manufactured in the USA in a CGMP-certified facility, according to tryrosabella.com.
On the downside, the formula includes magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose fillers. The monthly cost also runs higher than most alternatives, and there are persistent reports of counterfeit products and a high volume of customer complaints. More on those below.
Is Rosabella’s Organic Claim Legitimate?
Rosabella marketing states the product is “sourced from high-quality, non-GMO beets grown in the USA using sustainable practices.” Red beetroot grown in the US is rarely genetically modified anyway, so the non-GMO claim doesn’t add much.
What’s odd is that Ambrosia Brands barely references organic certification in its marketing or on its website, despite it appearing on the nutrition facts panel. Companies selling USDA-certified organic products typically put that front and center because it matters to customers.
Both top-ranked products in this guide to the best beetroot supplements display their USDA organic certification clearly on labels, in marketing images and on their websites. They also cost considerably less than Rosabella.
Rosabella Reviews, Complaints and Whether It’s a Scam
While researching this review of Rosabella Beetroot, I found a significant number of unhappy customers across Reddit, Trustpilot and the Better Business Bureau. At the time of writing, Ambrosia Brands LLC had 348 complaints on BBB and over 1,000 negative reviews on Trustpilot.
Nearly all complaints centred on confusion around automatic subscriptions and difficulty cancelling ongoing deliveries. Comments like “it is a scam and fraud,” “they ripped me off” and “they are scamming people” were routine across Trustpilot, BBB and Reddit. In more than 10 years of researching superfoods, this is among the worst negative sentiment I’ve seen toward any supplement company.
Looking at the website, it’s not hard to see why. Most supplement brands display both a one-time price and a lower subscription price side by side. Rosabella’s product page defaults to subscription pricing with 30, 60 and 90-day options. The “Buy Once – No Savings” option sits below as a small link that most shoppers would miss. Proceeding to checkout signs you up for recurring deliveries, with “Delivery every month” shown only in small grey text that blends into the page.
In my view, this is intentionally deceptive design, built to get customers onto subscriptions without realising it. I consider Rosabella’s product page and checkout to be a scam.
Better Alternatives to Rosabella Beetroot
Whether you buy through a subscription or pay the one-off price, Rosabella is expensive for what it is. That’s especially true compared to competitors in 2026. This brand currently costs $39.95 for just 60 capsules.
By comparison, ForestLeaf USDA organic beet capsules come with 120 capsules, added ginger and grape seed extract for circulation support and third-party safety testing, all for considerably less here on their Amazon store (sponsored).
If you’d consider taking an organic beet powder, brand’s like Snap Supplements Nitric Oxide 3 in 1 Circulation Superfood, Peacock Max Superfood Beets and Zen Principle Organic Beet Powder are all much better value versus Rosabella Beetroot capsules.
